Featured Speaker: Donald A. Ott
Bishop Don Ott, who served the Michigan Area, will present “God’s Renewed Creation, A Call of the Council of Bishops to Hope and Action for God’s Good Creation.” The Bishops’ Pastoral Letter (hopeandaction.org) lists the 9 pledges the bishops have made to respond to God’s gracious call to join in renewing creation. Can we match their actions?

Lana Pollack, Chair of the U.S. Section, International Joint Commission of the U.S. and Canada, former Michigan State Senator and president of the Michigan Environmental Council. Topic: The health of the Great Lakes and the steps needed to be good stewards of them.
Pat Callbeck Harper, Project Manager, Council of Bishops’ “God’s Renewed Creation,” former officer for social action for the United Methodist Women and the Women’s Division of the General Board of Global Ministries. Topic: How to use the Bishops’ Call in your church and community. Every family or church will receive a FREE 56-page book,GOD’S RENEWED CREATION:call to hope and action
