We Believe

Social principles of the United Methodist Church are comprehensive and rooted in a tradition of open hearts, open minds, open doors.  United Methodists, in the "method" established by founder John Wesley, seek to make decisions about such issues by using the intellectual sieve of the "Wesleyan Quadrilateral," which includes scripture, tradition, reason and experience.  This method means that United Methodism includes individuals with a wide range of thought and revelation.
